2002 M Coupe | Steel Gray

BMW Z3 M Coupe Hamann Aero, Hamann rear diffuser, Hamann roof spoiler, Hamann hatch spoiler, Hamann side skirts, and Hamann front splitter

I saved this photo in June of 2008, but I’m not sure where I found it. If it happens to be yours, or you know whose it is, please post in the comments. Edit: Thanks to Brad’s comment, here is the original post that I tracked down. I also found this photo Brad posted as well, see below. The Coupe appears to have the full Hamann aero catalog, minus the Hamann side grilles. This includes Hamann rear diffuser, Hamann roof spoiler, Hamann hatch spoiler, Hamann side “skirts”, and Hamann front splitter. The Coupe also has aftermarket suspension. I’ve had all but the skirts and grilles at some point in my Coupe ownership. I never installed any of them, and eventually sold the parts to fund other purchases for the Coupe.

Very early in my Coupe ownership, unrelated to this post, I owned the AC Schitzer type I roof spoiler. At the time I thought it didn’t compliment the lines of the Coupe, so I sold it. I have since tried to buy it back, but it is long gone. If you have one you’d be willing to part with, let me know!

      Thanks for the kind words.

It’s a pretty uncommon piece. I like the roof spoiler, but the hatch spoiler is just too much…IMHO.

Roadstars are a really great design, and match the Coupe well. Ya gotta love that fat lip on the rear wheels!

  2. The ACS roof spoiler is now discontinued but ACS UK (Rossiters) did have a couple left in stock but at around £400.

That’s my car! Old bimmerforums pic just after I washed it. Pic taken on BFV wash rack in Germany. At this time is was still on lowering springs and stock wheels were put on for winter storage. Never driven in stock form ever. Picked it up in Jan 22,2002 with full kit and PG2 wheels.
Pic is before Supersprint exhaust, KW V3’s, and Stoptech brakes, which those wheels won’t fit over. Pic was taken before Jul ’03. Just drove it for first time in over a year last week, but that will change in about 2 months lol.

Good seeing that pic again, thanks.

Thanks so much for commenting Brad! I’ve wondered for a long time where I saved that photo from.

What’s the deal with the license plate? I would’ve assumed that it was from Hong Kong with the HK on the top left of the plate.

Not just splitter, but complete front spoiler bumper.

I realize it’s not two separate splitters like the AC Schnitzer version, but I believe it is a “splitter” nonetheless.
