This is my former M Coupe that I bought in Rowland Heights, CA 2/17/08 with 65k miles and sold 1/13/10 with 76k miles. It was a single owner car, with all records, and was in great shape. I found it on the Los Angeles Craigslist on 2/12/08 and flew out that weekend with my wife to pick it up. At the time, she was about 6 weeks pregnant and was quite uncomfortable, but she was a trooper and wanted to join in the fun of picking up the Coupe. We had a lot of great memories with that Coupe, as we enjoyed it together for about 8 months before we had our first child. I found out today that the guy who bought it from me totaled it earlier this year. π He was driving in the rain, and had the ASC traction control off. He took a curve a bit faster than he should have and wound up spinning out, romping the curb, and ended up in somebodies driveway. The Coupe sustained substantial damage to the wheels, tires, suspension, undercarriage, and chassis. He walked away just fine, luckily. He has since bought a 2000 Cosmos Black over Black M Coupe. I know it’s just a car, and wasn’t even mine, but it bums me out that it is wrecked. RIP LC60562.
