2002 M Coupe | Sapphire Black | Kiwi/Black

 

This M Coupe was posted on pistonheads.com by Silas Benaiah of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom with 77k miles for £16,495 (~$25,874 USD). This is only the 3rd Kiwi/Black M Coupe I’ve ever seen. While the other two I posted were Phoenix Yellow, this Sapphire Black M Coupe better compliments the Kiwi leather. Kiwi is closest compared to the Gray/Black leather that I had on my 2nd Coupe, but with a green tint to the sections that would otherwise be Gray. I think it looks best with monochrome paints such as Titanium Silver, Sapphire Black, and Alpine White. Given that I’ve only seen it with Phoenix Yellow, and Sapphire Black paint, I believe it was only available for 2001 and 2002 for the S54 engined Ms — much like Laguna Seca Blue leather.

S54B32 BMW Z3 M Coupe | Sapphire Black | Imola Red | Coupe Cartel

 

This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by auto-moto0611 after spotting it in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. Based upon the chrome trim ringed headlights, chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, curved M badges, and Chrome Shadow Roadstars, this is a 2001 or 2002 with and S54 under the hood. It appears to be all stock, aside from what might be aftermarket suspension. Although, it’s difficult to tell from the angle of the photos. This LHD Euro M Coupe is one of only 269 produced, and even more rare is the sunroof delete. I applaud the owner of this Coupe for proudly representing the Coupe Cartel, even if it is was with blue painters tape. I’m curious what event the owner was headed to or from that prescribed decking out the Coupe like this.

This Z3 Coupe was posted on zroadster.net by Z3C of Turku, Finland. Based upon the chrome trim ringed headlights, chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, and chrome hatch handle, this is a 2001 or 2002 Z3 Coupe. Aside from 18″ BBS LM (possibly replicas) and aftermarket suspension, the Coupe appears to be all stock.

M Coupe vs Ferrari FF | 2001 M Coupe | Black Sapphire | Black

 

This photo was posted by BFM01 on bimmerforums.com of his 2001 Black Sapphire over Black Nappa M Coupe adjacent to a Ferrari FF. I’ve posted photos before of an M Coupe compared to an FF, but this is a different angle than those, and a better photo I might add. David took delivery of his M Coupe in March from Enthusiast Auto, and has been very pleased thus far. His pristine, 25k mile Coupe appears to be all stock, aside from the UUC RK6-A shift knob and smoked corner markers. Thanks for taking and sharing the photo, David!
