This M Coupe was posted on flickr.com by +Jethro+. Impala Brown is a color that was never available for M Coupes, however, as you can see here it is. While I can’t confirm 100% that this was originally painted Impala, it very likely was. There are 10 M Coupes with “Sonderlackierung” exteriors (special paint, in German) according to the data originally compiled by Wildag from BFc. BradK, an E36/8 enthusiast and expert from BFc, posted the “special” colors associated with those 10 VINs:

LC61937 is the only VIN with Impala Brown as the paint color, it has a Dark Oregon Beige interior. So far, this is consistent with what we see in these photos. The headlights have chrome trim rings, the kidney grills are chrome trimmed as well and the Roadstars have a Hyper Silver finish. All things you would expect to see on a 2000 M Coupe. As far as I can tell, this is the one and only Impala Brown M Coupe sold in the US. Just to top this rarity all off, the M Coupe is also a sunroof delete model. Very cool to see!
TexaZ3 posted a single photo of an Impala Brown M Coupe on BFc. There was some speculation that it was a repaint, but I believe it is the same Coupe photographed here. I have posted the photo below. In both instances of the Impala Brown M Coupe, mud flaps are up front, and the rear is protected by stone guards. The license plate differs between the most recent and older photo set — 995 SSV in the recent photos, and the older photo it ends with ZRV or something similar. Regardless, in both cases, the Coupe has Texas plates. It must have changed ownership at some point. If you happen to know anything about this Coupe, or it’s owner(s), please post in the comments.
