This M Coupe was posted in z3mcoupe.com by Hans Winkler of Germany. I’ve posted some shot of his Coupe before, but at that time it had 18″ Style 67 E46 M3 wheels and stock suspension. Since then he has added Chrome Shadow Roadstars, and lowered the Coupe. I’m guessing KW suspension, as that seems the frequent choice in Europe, whereas TC Kline is a frequent choice in the US. The ride height looks perfect, and the wheels look perfectly flush in the rear. When I was running Roadstars, I had 18mm spacers in the rear. I’m guessing he is running something similar. The M flag vinyl graphic is an interesting touch. I haven’t seen anybody highlight the lower portion of the “C” pillar before.

/ March 1, 2012Of particular interest to me is the off-center trunk latch, reminiscent of NA Coupes. Usually Euro models have the latch centered in a chrome bar just above the plate…

/ March 1, 2012Right you are! I assume it may have been the route taken for early production M Coupes, and was later changed. Interesting though. Good catch!

/ September 3, 2013That Coupe is amazingly well sorted. The contrast of the Chrome Shadow wheels is fantastic, and I love the detailing on the C pillar.
It could perhaps be a JDM Coupe originally, I think they have the US tailgate button with the Euro rear bumper.
