2000 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Black

2000 BMW Z3 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Black | Istanbul, Turkey

I’ve posted photos before of this M Coupe owned by Cemal Akçal of Istanbul, Turkey. These are from a recent photoshoot that was posted on BMW Car Club Trurkey’s site. Mods include: BBS RC wheels 18″x8.5″ and 18″x10″, Super Sprint exhaust and headers, PowerFlex bushings all around, Hamann front splitter AC Schnitzer splitters (Thanks for the correction, TiTi!), Hamann side skirts, retrofitted projector headlights, and front & rear shock tower braces. These guys never disappoint with photos!

1999 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black

1999 BMW Z3 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black | BBS RT081 RT083 Wheels

This M Coupe is owned by Drew (Coupe Monkey on BFc) of Pittsburgh, PA. These excellent photos were taken by his friend Konky. The photos are nearly 5 years old, so I imagine he has further modded his Coupe since then. In fact, I know he changed the wheels to Borbet Type A’s, but I’ll save those photos for another post. In these photos mods include tint,  H&R coilovers, and BBS RT081 17×8 Et13, RT083 17×9 Et13 wheels. I’ve always been a big fan of Drew’s M Coupe, and it is still one of the most unique I’ve seen, yet quite simple. I’ll share additional photos some time soon.

S50B32 M Coupe | Cosmos Black | Imola/Black

S50B32 M Coupe | Cosmos Black | Imola/Black

This M Coupe was photographed by Anthony Soete and posted on soete.com. Based upon the EXIF data, the photos are at least 6 years old, and many of the photo links on the site are dead, with only a small thumbnail visible. If you zoom in closely on the second image you can better see the interior color. Although the lighting makes it tough to identify, it might be Kyalami, but I think it is Imola. The Coupe appears to be all stock.

S54B32 M Coupe | Steel Gray | Gray/Black

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7177/6870888055_684c61ab10_z.jpg

This M Coupe was posted on flickr.com by nakhon100. This Coupe appears to be prepped for the track, with a number of mods suited for that type of use. Mods include: BMW OE Aero front bumper and side skirts, louvers cut into the stock hood, hood pins, black painted horizontal M Grille trim, blacked out roof, Hypersilver Roadstars with gunmetal painted centers wrapped with what looks like track rubber, racing seats, and aftermarket suspension. I’m not completely certain about the color, or engine of this Coupe. It looks like Steel Gray, but in some aspects, it looks a bit lighter than SG. It could just be the lighting, though. A sliver of the dash center can be seen, which looks Gray to me, making the interior Gray/Black. IF this is a Steel Gray M Coupe, it should have an S54 under the hood, but there is certainly a possibility that it is an S50 and the Coupe has been  repainted, or it is a BMW Individual. On a side note, I didn’t realize how tall and deep the Aero side skirts are, nor how “angular” they are.

1999 Z3 Coupe | Cosmos Black | Walnut

1999 BMW Z3 Coupe | Cosmos Black | Walnut | DSII Style 39 Wheels

This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on anibis.ch in Langenthal, Switzerland with 156,000 km (96,934 miles) for 9,700 CHF (~$10,665 USD). This sunroof delete Coupe caught me eye thanks to the DSII (Style 39) wheels, which I don’t remember seeing on a Coupe before. Interestingly, Felgen Katalog lists them as “M Double Spoke II” as an option for Z3 Roadsters and Coupes, with the exception of the M Roadster and Coupe. I suppose that could apply to markets outside of North America, given that individual color options were available. M 3 spoke steering wheels and M shift knobs can be found in many (if not all) Z3s beginning in 2000, so the fact that the DSII wheels are M doesn’t mean much. The seller lists a number of mods including PowerFlex bushings, H&R sway bars, and Hartge suspension. In the photos you can see some sort of aftermarket BMW roundels or decals, along with a Panasonic head unit.
