M Coupe Assembly Line || Estoril Blue | Black

This photo was posted on photobucket.com by cheeseroc. There are no details provided with the photo, other than it was taken on the assembly line. This a really cool glimpse to see of a Coupe being built — I wish there were more photos like this. It looks like they were just putting the finishing touches on before it was complete. In the photo you can clearly see the interior has been installed, and the seats are even covered with plastic. Based upon the front Euro plate bracket, this is not a US M Coupe. However it is not right hand drive, so it wouldn’t have been destined for the UK either. Something curious about the photo is the blue wiper blades. After noticing them, they stand out like a sore thumb now.

M Coupe Paintings

I purchased these three paintings from the artist on eBay in 2009. Each was hand painted on MDF measuring 16″ x 49″ x 1/2″. My favorite is the 3/4 shot of the rear. That is always the Coupes best angle, and I really like that the artist left the plate light out of the painting. The hatch look so much cleaner without the ugly US illumination method, and better than the Euro method as well.

I found this “M Coupe” posted on autopixx.de. I’ll just say that this is an interesting Coupe and is something that I never thought I’d see.

2001 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Estoril Blue/Black

This M Coupe is owned by GaryG of mcoupe.com. Although Estoril is a common color, Gary owns a very unique M Coupe. In South Africa, where Gary lives, just 40 M Coupes were imported by BMW SA. Each M Coupe was fitted with AC Shnitzer exhaust, suspension, Type III wheels, short shift kit, and shift knob. That said, the Coupe appears to be all stock, or at least the way it was delivered from the dealer.

2002 Z3 Coupe | Topaz Blue | Topaz Blue

This Z3 Coupe was posted on zroadster.com by Mucdriver. He purchased the Coupe in March of 2008 with 49,000 km, and sold it to a local dealer in March of 2011 for £16,500 (~$23,400 USD), The Coupe appears to be all stock.
