2000 M Coupe | Alpine White | Black

My friend and fellow Coupe fanatic, Jon, stumbled across this Coupe and sent it my way. It’s posted for sale on autotrader.co.za in Kyalami, South Africa. Yep, the Kyalami for which Kyalami Orange was named. Initially, Jon was hoping that with Kyalami in the search result that this was an Alpine White over Kyalami Coupe, but no dice. The interior is Black. Which isn’t bad, but seeing an AW/KO M Coupe would be pretty cool. The RHD, sunroof delete Coupe is listed for R179,950 (~$21,739 USD) with 107,000 km (66,487 miles). Mods include Hamann rear diffuser, Hamann side skirts, AC Schnitzer exhaust, AC Shnitzer shift knob and e-brake handle, AC Schnitzer pedal covers, front splitters. I don’t recognize the front splitters. AC Schnitzer makes a two piece splitter set, but it looks much different. Hamann makes a front splitter, but it is all one piece that attaches to the bottom of the bumper. Anybody recognize these splitters? If so, please post in the comments.

2000 M Coupe | Dakar Yellow | Black
This M Coupe was posted for sale on pistonheads.com Shrewsbury, UK with 35,001 miles for £19,995 (~$31,636 USD). Dakar Yellow is a rare color in NA with only 51 produced, 41 with Black interior, with only 33 in 2000 of which 24 had a sunroof. There were 821 RHD M Coupes produced, so if the color distribution is similar, there would be about 19 in RHD Dakar Yellow Coupes. While the price would be high in the US, I suspect it’s not too far off for the UK. It appears to be all stock.

1999 M Coupe | Lamborghini Grigio Telesto Vinyl
This M Coupe was posted for sale on gumtree.co.za in Cape Town, South Africa for R125,000 (~$15,071 USD) with 162.000 km (100,662 miles). The color of the Coupe is what caught my attention. At first, I thought it was Sterling Gray, or Steel Gray that just looked awkward in the photo. However, the seller lists that it has been wrapped in vinyl. The exact color isn’t mentioned, but it looks a lot like Grigio Telesto found on Lamborghinis including this Murcielago LP640. It’s a great color, and suits the shape of the Coupe well. The Lamborghini color is metallic, where this vinyl would seem to be non-metallic, as I would imagine most vinyls wraps are. The seller also highlights that the interior has been refreshed including the seats, door panels, and steering wheel. It’s listed as a 99, but the chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grille slats along with Hyper Silver Roadstars would indicate that it is a 2000. Unless, of course, those parts have been replaced. I’d be interested to see more photos of this Coupe. If you happen to know of any, please post in the comments.
