This M Coupe was posted for sale on goo-net.com in Chiba, Japan with 80,000 km (49,710 miles) for $18,080. This all stock, sunroof delete M Coupe is likely one-of-a-kind. Evergreen was only available in 1998-2000 S52 M Coupes, and there is only one (WBSCM9342YLC61785) in the US, and it has a sunroof. It’s certainly possible there are more out there, but if the numbers globally are similar to the US, it seems unlikely. The hatch is interesting, as it is absent of the subwoofer housing found in most Coupes. I wonder if the subwoofer was an option in Japan, unlike the US where it was standard?

This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on blocket.se in Brokind, Sweden with 11,000 mil (1 mil = 10km, so 110,000 km or 68,350 miles) for 105,000 SEK (~$15,757 USD). This Coupe reminds me of Gary Akopyan’s previous Z3 Coupe, primarily because of the red Time Attack style stripe on the black wheels combined with the ride height and Arctic Silver paint. Mods include: Aftermarket suspension, 3 spoke M steering wheel, painted Style 42 wheels (I think they’re Style 42, at least), and Remus cat-back exhaust.

This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on sulit.com.ph in Tagaytay City, Cavite, Philippines with under 60k miles for P 1,300,000 ($~30,296 USD). Mods include: 19″ AC Schnitzer Type IV wheels, Sonar Projectors, clear corner lights, aftermarket suspension, and a 3 spoke M steering wheel. The 3 spoke M steering wheel became standard beginning in 2000 for all Z3 variants. This 1998 must have had the original 4 spoke wheel swapped out at some point. Based upon the automatic transmission, headlight washers, and non-European plate sized bumper cutout, I believe this Coupe was imported to the Philippines from Japan. Japan has a strict and costly inspection program, “Shaken“, that causes many low mileage vehicles to be exported due to the high cost of maintaining them. Given the proximity of the two countries, this seems like a logical explanation.
