Euro M Coupe Race Car | Lime Green

Euro M Coupe | Lime Green

This M Coupe was posted on flickr.com by BMW Car Club GB & Ireland. The fully track-prepped Coupe is a real head turner with the lime green paint. There was no information posted about the Coupe, and there are no distinguishable features to identify the the year or engine. The one thing I can identify is the Erebuni carbon fiber look fiberglass side grilles. This is the first Coupe I can recall seeing them installed on.

S50B32 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black

S50B32 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black | E90 3 Series Style 199 Wheels

I stumbled across this M Coupe posted on bmwz3club.fr. What caught my attention was the stance, but more so the wheels. They appeared to be OE BMW wheels, but I had never seen them on a Z3 or M Coupe before. I skimmed through my go-to OE BMW wheel gallery, FelgenKatalog, to find Style 199 wheels from an E90 3 Series. They are 19″x8″ ET37, 19″x9″ ET39. I’m a big fan of 5 spoke wheels, so it’s no surprise that these caught my eye. The fronts should fit fine without a spacer, but the rears would need one to make them flush. The fronts weigh about 28 lbs, and the rears 29lbs, which is substantially heavier than Roadstars which are 21 lbs front, and 24 lbs rear. Although, at 19″, additional weight is to be expected.

2000 Z3 Coupe | Jet Black | Walnut

2000 BMW Z3 Coupe | Jet Black | Walnut | Roadstars

This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on craigslist.org in San Diego, CA with 100k miles for $14,000. It looks like a very nice Coupe, especially given that it has over 100k miles. The Walnut leather looks excellent with the stark black paint. The Roadstars fit pretty well, and look good. The rears poke a bit, but as long as they don’t interfere with the fender or wheel well, it shouldn’t be an issue. I think the H&R springs gave it enough camber that they don’t poke like so many other Z3s with Roadstars installed. M side grilles, and an M front bumper have been fitted as well. If the Coupe has been as well cared for as it appears in the photos, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it sell for asking price.

M54B30 Z3 Coupe | Atlanta Blue | Black

M54B30 Z3 Coupe | Atlanta Blue | Black

This Z3 Coupe was posted on zroadster.com by Blauer Klaus of Germany. Based upon the 3.0i hatch badge, chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, this is a 2001 or 2002 with an M54 under the hood. Aside from a slight drop in ride height, the Coupe appears all stock. I’m not aware of more than one or two Atlanta Blue Z3 Coupes in the US, although there are likely more.

1999 M Coupe | Imola Red | Imola Red/Black

1999 M Coupe | Imola Red | Imola Red/Black

This M Coupe was posted for sale on pistonheads.com by John Booker of East Yorkshire, UK with 96k miles for £10,950 (~$17,282 USD). It’s a clean looking Coupe, but has a few changes that may not appeal to all buyers. The owner has added curved M badges from S54 M Coupes to the C pillars on both sides, chrome door handle covers, and a chrome shifter. The chrome isn’t that uncommon, but I have never seen M badges on the C pillars. Quite odd. Additional mods include: leather covered armrest, magnetic stone guards, ProjectorZ II headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney slats from 2000+ Coupes. Fortunately all of the changes are easily reversible to stock.
