This Coupe was posted on flickr.com by Toprope. Based upon the chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, chrome trim ringed headlights and flat M badges, this is a 2000 with an S50 under the hood. I can’t identify with much certainty whether it is an M Coupe or a Z3 Coupe, though. Let’s look at what is from an M: Estoril paint, M badges, oval side mirrors, side grilles, AC Schnitzer dual exhaust, rear axles adequate for E46 M3 18″ Style 67 wheels (18″ x 8″ ET 47, 18″ x 9″ ET 26). Now, what’s from a Z3 Coupe: front and rear bumper, hatch, Z3 rectangular rear view mirror. The seats are appear to be blue, but I can’t see clearly enough if they are two tone, like an M, or all blue, like a Z3. Paint work has obviously been done, given the matched hatch spoiler, and unpainted lower portion of the side mirrors. To me, the most plausible answer is that this is an M Coupe, that has had the front and rear bumper, along with the hatch replaced. Modifying a Z3 Coupe with dual exhaust, is quite a bit of work, not to mention swapping the rear axles (and whatever else would be necessary) to fit the low offset rear wheels, and repainting it from a Z3 color to an M color. What do you think – M Coupe or Z3 Coupe?

2002 M Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black
This M Coupe was submitted by Bruce G, CanuckMCoupe on BFc, from Alberta, Canada. I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce (and his son Spencer) at Dorkfest 2011, and seeing his Coupe in person. [They drove over 3,700 miles round trip to be there – very cool.] It looks great. Bruce bought the Coupe 4 years ago in San Francisco, CA. He has a number of tasteful mods that take the Coupe up a notch. These mods include: 18″ x 8.5″ ET 38, 18″ x 10.5″ ET 19mm CCW LM20s with 245/35/18, 295/30/18 Hankook Ventus Evos, 3.46 LSD, H&R Coilovers, Eisenmann 83mm exhaust, UUC Short Shift, UUC Pedals, UUC transmission mount enforcers, Sharked, AC Schnitzer front bumper splitters and rear roof spoiler (all painted to match), and tinted windows.

1999 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Black
This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by draco after spotting it in Uden, Netherlands. Based upon the flat M badges, non-chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, and non-chrome trim ringed headlights this is a 98 or 99 M Coupe. Given that the 98 M Coupes were introduced towards the end of the year, I suspect this is a 99. While it does have Chrome Shadow Roadstars, from an 01 or 02 M Coupe, it is likely that they were mounted sometime after the Coupe rolled off the factory floor. The sunroof delete M Coupe appears all stock.

S50B32 M Coupe | Cosmos Black | Gray/Black
This M Coupe was posted on z3mcoupe.com by Dave530. He has fitted the Coupe with a set of 19″ x 8″ ET47, 19″ x 9.5″ ET27Â Style 67 from an E46 M3. I think they look great and suit the Coupe very well. I had a set of chromed 17″ Style 67 replicas on my first Coupe. I was never happy with them (mostly because they were chrome), but I really like the way this set looks. Additional mods include: Recaro seats, suspension, and what appears to be Eisenmann exhaust.

2000 M Coupe | Dakar Yellow | Black
This M Coupe was posted for sale on pistonheads.com by Munich Legends with 53,106 miles for £14,500 (~$22,320 USD). The Coupe appears to be all stock, aside from the Roadstars which have been refinished in a darker color that mimics the Chrome Shadow finish that S54 M Coupes featured.
