This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by loyers in Belgium. The Coupe seems to be track prepped taking into account the roll cage. The Coupe also has lowering suspension, black painted or powder coated Roadstars with a polished lip, and what looks like aftermarket exhaust. Based upon the flat M badges, black kidney grill slats, and the black center console gauges, it is a 1998 or 1999 with an S50 under the hood.

1999 M Coupe | Laguna Seca Blue | Black
Another interesting Coupe that “doesn’t exist” today. This M Coupe is posted on pistonheads.com by Keith Mcgurk for £12,995 (~$20,900 USD) with 72,500 miles. Laguna Seca Blue was only officially offered by BMW on 2001 and 2002 Ms. However, like this US 2000 Steel Gray M Coupe, I suspect this one was special ordered. There are some other peculiarities about this Coupe. It has chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grilles like you would expect to find on 2000+ M Coupes, but flat M badges all around like you would find on 1998-2000 M Coupes. The Roadstars appear to be Hyper Silver, which would have come from the factory on 1998-2000 M Coupes, but the listing specifically mentions that they were recently refinished. The Coupe appears to be all stock, aside from the paint matched hatch spoiler. This is all could, of course, be explained by a wreck that caused parts to be replaced with what was available and a repaint in LSB, but I’m hoping that’s not the case.

2000 Z3 Coupe | Hellrot Red | Black
This Z3 Coupe was posted on garaget.org by andre300. Hellrot, being a non-metallic color, has a similarity to LSB — It looks better in indirect sunlight, or non-natural light. In some daylight, the paint can appear somewhat washed out. In the right light though, it’s a striking color — as seen in these photos. This Coupes mods include: M front bumper, M mirrors, M side grilles, paint matched hatch spoiler, door handles & hatch lift, and 19″ BBS CH wheels.

2001 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Gray/Black
I stumbled across this M Coupe posted on a random website, carpictures.com. The page appears to be a copy of an eBay auction that ended 7/9/05. According to the website, the M Coupe had 46,634 miles, and sold for $30,153 with 10 bids. Even though Estoril Blue is one of the more common colors, it’s still a pretty interesting Coupe. It’s the only one in this combo from 2001. Estoril blue, gray/black interior, with a sunroof delete, there is one other S54 like it in 2002. There were 15 total Estoril over gray/black M Coupes sold in the US, 5 of which are without a sunroof, so it’s a pretty uncommon combo. Read the full post »

2000 M Coupe | Steel Gray | Gray/Black
This very special M Coupe was submitted by Jeff Milarsky. Jeff purchased his M Coupe from a Florida dealership in excellent condition in 2002, after being owned and ordered by a pilot. The previous owner was able to special order the Coupe in Steel Gray, which was not available for model year 2000. I’m not certain how he was able to pull the right strings to make this happen, but it’s the only factory original Steel Gray S52 M Coupe I am aware of. It also helps to clear up what the 10 “special paint” M Coupes are. I’m very curious what the other special order paint colors are. Jeff’s mods include: H&R springs, Bilstein shocks, VAC pulley Set, Eisenmann Race exhaust, Autothority chip, Alpine head unit, Memphis 8″ sub, JL Audio amp, Kicker subwoofer amp, and refinished Roadstars with slightly darker M5 silver finish.
