This Z3 Coupe was submitted by Doug Ryan from Mount Prospect, IL. He’s owned the Coupe for 7 years, and from what I can see, has taken excellent care of it. Black on black is a nice, clean, yet subtle color combo. The ASA AR1 wheels, and Super Sprint DTM exhaust is the icing on the cake. I realize not everyone cares for DTM tips, but they are my personal preference, so I’m glad to see them on this Coupe. Doug has recently purchased a 99 M Coupe. With his recent purchase he has listed the Z3 Coupe for sale. With the included mods (supercharger!), and 97,000 miles, $14,250 is a fair price. You can see the ad on Autotrader, and the text from the ad is copied below.

This M Coupe photo was posted by Sean Rampingshop to the BMW Z3 M Coupe Enthusiasts Group on Facebook. Sean has done a lot of interesting work to his Coupe, making a unique car all that much more so. He added a Revosport hood, smoothing the M side grills into the hood. He mentioned that the hood took quite a bit of effort for the body shop to get the fitment correct. I’ve seen this same hood mentioned a number of times as having terrible fitment, but after the work done to this one, you’d never know. The front end also has AC Schnitzer splitters (they look like the Motion Motorsport replicas, as they are absent of the ACS badge), and ProjectorZ II headlights. The stock kidney grilles have been replaced with replica chrome kidney grilles that protrude further from the kidney surround, and are a single piece rather than the OEM two piece design. The Coupe is wearing SSR GT3 wheels, with an amazing 13 inches in the rear! A Veilside body gift was moulded to the Coupe to allow for the added width. I’m not sure if the the side skirts are the OEM BMW Aero setup, or were also part of the Veilside kit. All in all, the is a nice looking, and very unique Coupe.

This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by matthijsnoort after spotting it in Berkel en Rodenrijs, Netherlands. The Coupe has been wrapped in matte black vinyl, and the Roadstars powder coated (or possibly painted) red. The kidney grille surrounds, and side grille slats have also been wrapped (or painted) matte black. The Coupe has a nice drop, I’d assume on KW Coilovers since it is outside the US. I’m not sure why, but KW Coilovers seem to be the suspension of choice, although others are certainly available. If the wheels were clean, it’d certainly look better, but I actually kind of like the look of this Coupe. It’s well outside the mainstream, but everything is pretty easily reversible if the owner gets tired of it.
