S50B32 M Coupe | Cosmos Black | Imola/Black

S50B32 M Coupe | Cosmos Black | Imola/Black

This M Coupe was photographed by Anthony Soete and posted on soete.com. Based upon the EXIF data, the photos are at least 6 years old, and many of the photo links on the site are dead, with only a small thumbnail visible. If you zoom in closely on the second image you can better see the interior color. Although the lighting makes it tough to identify, it might be Kyalami, but I think it is Imola. The Coupe appears to be all stock.

S54B32 M Coupe | Steel Gray | Gray/Black

http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7177/6870888055_684c61ab10_z.jpg

This M Coupe was posted on flickr.com by nakhon100. This Coupe appears to be prepped for the track, with a number of mods suited for that type of use. Mods include: BMW OE Aero front bumper and side skirts, louvers cut into the stock hood, hood pins, black painted horizontal M Grille trim, blacked out roof, Hypersilver Roadstars with gunmetal painted centers wrapped with what looks like track rubber, racing seats, and aftermarket suspension. I’m not completely certain about the color, or engine of this Coupe. It looks like Steel Gray, but in some aspects, it looks a bit lighter than SG. It could just be the lighting, though. A sliver of the dash center can be seen, which looks Gray to me, making the interior Gray/Black. IF this is a Steel Gray M Coupe, it should have an S54 under the hood, but there is certainly a possibility that it is an S50 and the Coupe has been  repainted, or it is a BMW Individual. On a side note, I didn’t realize how tall and deep the Aero side skirts are, nor how “angular” they are.

1999 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Estoril/Black | Sunroof Delete | South Africa

This M Coupe was posted by Neven on bmwfanatics.co.za on behalf of his cousin Vernon. It is listed for sale in Gauteng, South Africa with 59,145 km (36,751 miles) for R195,000 (~$25,809 USD). Aside from tinted windows, a short shift kit, and an aftermarket stereo, the Coupe appears to be all stock. It looks like a clean and well cared for sunroof delete M Coupe.

2000 M Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black

2000 M Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black | Style 163 BMW CSL Wheels

This M Coupe was posted on bmw5.co.uk by alpinaman. It’s mostly stock with the exception of the 2001+ curved monochromatic M badge on the hatch, short antenna, black and white BMW Roundel, M Coupe decals on the rear windows, and of course the 19″ Style 163 CSL wheels (19″ x 8.5″ ET44 27.8 lbs, 19″ x 9.5″ ET27 30.4 lbs). Although I shouldn’t be, I was somewhat surprised at the weight of the 19 ” CSLs compared to the stock 17″ M Style 40 Roadstars which weigh 21.1 lbs and 24.2 lbs. When you figure in the added weight of 19″ tires, that’s a significant increase. My assumption would be that Coupe Sport Lightweight would shed weight all around, regardless of an increase in size to the wheels. With an increase of 6.7 lbs front and 6.2 lbs rear, my assumption was clearly wrong. Regardless of the increased weight, I do like the look of the CSLs. I think they’d look even better on this Coupe with a decrease in ride height with a set of coilovers.

2000 M Coupe | Alpine White | Gray/Black

2000 M Coupe | Alpine White | Gray/Black

This M Coupe was listed for sale by Car One in Santa Monica, CA for $19,995 with 106,094 miles. This was actually listed back in December, but I just stumbled across it on Craigslist now. Based upon the Carfax, it’s always been a California car, and has been dealer maintained. It was sold at auction 6/24/11 with 106,093 miles, so based upon the currently listed miles (106,100 in the photo below), it hasn’t really been driven since it was sold at auction. I imagine the price is a bit of a turn of to potential buyers. It’s not all that high for the rareness of the Coupe (1 of 9 Alpine White over Gray/Black), but for with 100k miles, it likely turns off buyers. 100k+ really isn’t much of an issue for any of the Z3/M engines (my S54 has nearly 115k and is going strong, and my previous M52 had 122k with no issues when I sold it), but there is a bit of a psychological barrier for a 12 year old car and that mileage. I’ve mentioned it many times, but white is such a great color on Coupes, and quite rare with only 103 (3.6%) AW M Coupes sold quite uncommon.  The Dark Gray leather is also very nice, and from the photos looks like it is in excellent shape for the mileage. It appears to be all stock.
