These excellent photos were posted on flickr.com by Zukov of Russia. It’s been a while since I’ve seen simple shots of a Coupe that turned out so well. I’m just an amateur, but I have no criticism of these photos at all. The Coupe appears to be all stock, aside from tint. Based upon the chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, this is a 2000 or newer Coupe, meaning the silver paint is Titanium, rather than Arctic found on earlier models. That said, there could be either an M52 or M54 under the hood. In the last photo you can just see the Dream Red extended leather dash. Looks like a very nice and clean Z3 Coupe.

1999 Z3 Coupe | Jet Black | Walnut
This Z3 Coupe was posted on jibli.fr by simonavallus in Rheims, France with 92731 Km (57,620 miles) for €3000 (~$3 913 USD). The pictures are low quality, but the Coupe caught my attention anyway. Initially because of the Walnut interior, but looking closer I noticed the subtle racing stripes. The listing identifies the color as matte black, but that seems to be the color of the stripes, rather than the entire Coupe. It would actually be quite interesting if the stripes were the body color, and the rest had been wrapped with matte black vinyl. This would be a clever way of disguising the narrow width of the vinyl by using it as a design feature in and of itself. The Coupe looks very nice with the debadged hatch, clear corner headlights, clear bumper markers, all topped off with the Walnut leather. It also seems like quite a bargain with low mileage for under $4k USD. If this was for sale within a days drive of me, I’d likely have been driving home with it, rather than sharing it here. It may be in rough shape, but as long as it runs well, and doesn’t have any excessive wear or damage, it’s quite a bargain. Additional mods include: Tinted windows, and aftermarket suspension. [Update 12.29.11]: Thanks for posting a link to an updated ad, Irandal! Looks like the price should have been higher all along, €15,000 (~$19,374 USD) to be exact. Doesn’t seem like much of a deal any longer. In the new listing, the mods are listed as Bilstein shocks, Fox Germany exhaust, ADP brakes and Delage Sport strut bar.

2000 Z3 Coupe | Jet Black | Walnut
This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on craigslist.org in San Diego, CA with 100k miles for $14,000. It looks like a very nice Coupe, especially given that it has over 100k miles. The Walnut leather looks excellent with the stark black paint. The Roadstars fit pretty well, and look good. The rears poke a bit, but as long as they don’t interfere with the fender or wheel well, it shouldn’t be an issue. I think the H&R springs gave it enough camber that they don’t poke like so many other Z3s with Roadstars installed. M side grilles, and an M front bumper have been fitted as well. If the Coupe has been as well cared for as it appears in the photos, I wouldn’t be surprised to see it sell for asking price.

M52B28 Z3 Coupe | Hellrot Red | Dream Red
This Z3 Coupe race car was posted on flickr.com by nordschleifenfan. Based upon the non-chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, I believe this is a 98 or 99. The only mod that I can distinguish with any accuracy are the Hamann side mirrors. There’s a boat load of track specific mods, including: front and rear bumper, rear diffuser, spoiler, ducted front and rear fenders, roll cage, Rial wheels (I’m assuming thanks to the sponsorship logo on the hood), and suspension. I suspect that there is something other than a stock M52 under the hood, but there is no indication of exactly what is there. From the photo, it appears that this is a sunroof delete model. I wonder if that is the case, or if it has been replaced, or simply covered with vinyl.
