S54B32 M Coupe | Phoenix Yellow | Black

S54B32 S54 BMW Z3 M Coupe | Phoenix Yellow | Black

This M Coupe was posted on bimmerportal.nl by Niels. Phoenix Yellow has to be one of, if not the most polarizing colors for the M Coupe. I was not a fan of it a few years back, but have grown to appreciate it. This M Coupe looks particularly good with the BBS CH wheel, aftermarket suspension, and the Hamann rear diffuser center section. The Hamann rear diffuser is 3 pieces, left wing, center, and right wing. I like the way it looks without the side wings. Additional mods include: Alcantara shift boot, aluminum pedals, LeatherZ MKII armrest, Alpine head unit, and AC Schnitzer exhaust. When Niels purchased the Coupe, the tail lights had been smoked, likely with a tint of some sort. He removed the tint restoring the tail lights to the original condition. An improvement, I think.

2002 M Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black

2002 BMW Z3 M Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black

This M Coupe was submitted by Bruce G, CanuckMCoupe on BFc, from Alberta, Canada. I had the pleasure of meeting Bruce (and his son Spencer) at Dorkfest 2011, and seeing his Coupe in person. [They drove over 3,700 miles round trip to be there – very cool.] It looks great. Bruce bought the Coupe 4 years ago in San Francisco, CA. He has a number of tasteful mods that take the Coupe up a notch. These mods include:  18″ x 8.5″ ET 38, 18″ x 10.5″ ET 19mm CCW LM20s with  245/35/18, 295/30/18 Hankook Ventus Evos, 3.46 LSD, H&R Coilovers, Eisenmann 83mm exhaust, UUC Short Shift, UUC Pedals, UUC transmission mount enforcers, Sharked, AC Schnitzer front bumper splitters and rear roof spoiler (all painted to match), and tinted windows.

2002 M Coupe | Laguna Seca Blue | Black

2002 M Coupe | Laguna Seca Blue | Black | Kinesis K58 18

Ever since I bought my first Coupe in 2007, I have wanted a set of Kinesis K58s. There are a few guys on BFc who are running, or have run them on their Coupe — Caliagents1688, JonesMechanical, and Gnarlycreature come to mind). In my opinion, they are the best looking set of wheels on the Coupe. Not far behind them are many, many other designs, but in my humble opinion, these are the best. I searched and search for a set that I could justify plunking my hard earned cash for, and early this summer the right set showed up (thanks to my buddy Sky for the heads up!). The seller had recently refinished them to like new condition. No rash, no dings, flawless finish, fresh polish, new hardware, etc, etc. The price was right, I paid for them clear back in June, received them in July, finally received the valve stems and tires in August, and had them mounted in September. You’d think after all of that, they’d be the finished product, but they’re not. The fronts are spot on, no spacer required and are perfectly flush. My TCK S/A suspension is adjusted up front as low as it will go, and there is nor rubbing whatsoever. The fronts are perfect. The rear is almost as low as it will go, I’m going to completely pull the adjuster out to get it about 1/2″ lower. The rears don’t have an optimal offset, or width. 🙁 I know what to order, and where from to get them new, but I have other priorities currently and don’t have the time to disassemble the wheels to install wider lips. I’ll get to it in time, but for now I’m stoked just to have them mounted! I’ll be running a thick spacer for the time being so that they don’t look strange, but I’m content with having them at all.

2000+ M Coupe | Estoril Blue

http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6191/6080541921_174e0f0e56_z.jpg

This single M Coupe photo was posted on deviantart.com by lo-Que. There are no details posted about the Coupe. Based upon the chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grille slats this is a 2000+ M Coupe. It could be either and S50 of S54, but without seeing the engine bay, gauges, or M badges, there isn’t a good way to identify it. Mods include suspension, Recaro seats, BBS LM wheels, AC Schnitzer splitters, and an AC Schnitzer Type II roof spoiler.

S54B32 M Coupe | Black Sapphire | Gray/Black

S54B32 M Coupe | Black Sapphire | Gray/Black | Style 32 Wheels

This M Coupe was spotted by spn unit of autogespot.com in Breda, Netherlands. Initially I thought it was a Z3 Coupe with M side grilles, and mirrors added. However, looking at the rear, it has factory M dual exhaust, with an M bumper. Fitting the stock M dual exhaust to a Z3 Coupe would not be worth the effort, so it seems unlikely that it is a Z3 Coupe in M Coupe “clothing”. More likely than not, the owner has swapped a Z3 front bumper on, in favor of the M front bumper. I’ve heard it argued that the Z3 front bumper has more aero functionality than the M front bumper. I personally prefer the M bumper, but to each their own. Given the curved M badges, chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kideny grille slats, I believe this is an 01 or 02 M Coupe with an S54 under the hood. In the second photo, you can just see what looks like Dark Gray bolsters on the seats. It’s odd to see a set of Style 32 wheels fitted to an M Coupe. It’s not a terrible look by any means, but I think Roadstars look much better. Again, to each their own.
