This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale in Hyogo, Japan on goo-net.com with 44,000 km (27,340 miles) for $11,450. It looks very clean, as it should, with only 27k miles. The sunroof delete Coupe has an automatic transmission, which seems to be common for Z3 Coupes in Japan. All of the Z3 Coupes I have seen from Japan have automatics. I wonder why that is the case? While not quite as nice as this Walnut extended leather with brushed aluminum trim Coupe, the Walnut interior does look great with Hellrot paint. It also has less than half the miles, and is nearly $7k less. I’m curious what it would take to import this Coupe from Japan – anybody know? Aside from 17″x7.5″, 17″x8.5″ Style 97 E46 3 Series wheels, aftermarket suspension and a navigation unit it appears to be all stock.

This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on kijiji.com in Calgary, Alberta, Canada with 60k miles for $17,900 CAD (~$18,020 USD). The Coupe has four of the best selections you can find in a Z3 Coupe — M54 engine, Walnut interior, extended leather, and brushed aluminum trim. It all looks excellent with the black paint, and Style 42 wheels. You can’t get much better for a Z3 Coupe. According to the seller, there were only 6 similar Z3 Coupes sold. Aside from the black Roundels throughout, it appears to be all stock. While the $18k price tag seems a bit high for a non-M Coupe, it’s a reasonable starting point given the top-notch selections.

This Z3 Coupe was listed for sale on autotrader.com by Silver State Imports of Raleigh, NC for $11,995 with 106,137 miles. This is my absolute favorite Z3 Coupe color combination. Given the opportunity for an automatic in this same color combo, I’d be looking to buy it for my wife. She hasn’t always been a big fan of the Coupe, but over the last 4 years that I have owned one, her interest has grown from thinking they look nice, to wanting one of her own. I’ve tried many, many times to teach her to drive mine, but she is just too wary of “messing something up”. That said, her ideal Coupe would be the same AW/Walnut pictured here, but with an automatic. Not something I’m likely to find for sale in good shape, at a reasonable price anytime soon. One day though, maybe… This one came to my attention after it was posted on bimmerforums.com by clevertd. He was working towards buying it himself, but after some concerns arose during a PPI, and the dealer wouldn’t budge on the price, it sounds like he may have changed his mind.

This Z3 Coupe was posted for sale on anibis.ch in Langenthal, Switzerland with 156,000 km (96,934 miles) for 9,700 CHF (~$10,665 USD). This sunroof delete Coupe caught me eye thanks to the DSII (Style 39) wheels, which I don’t remember seeing on a Coupe before. Interestingly, Felgen Katalog lists them as “M Double Spoke II” as an option for Z3 Roadsters and Coupes, with the exception of the M Roadster and Coupe. I suppose that could apply to markets outside of North America, given that individual color options were available. M 3 spoke steering wheels and M shift knobs can be found in many (if not all) Z3s beginning in 2000, so the fact that the DSII wheels are M doesn’t mean much. The seller lists a number of mods including PowerFlex bushings, H&R sway bars, and Hartge suspension. In the photos you can see some sort of aftermarket BMW roundels or decals, along with a Panasonic head unit.
