First off, let me just say that I’m skeptical of the details about this Coupe. At the same time, it would be awesome if it was all accurate.
This Coupe is owned by Greenwasp of Zroadster.com. I originally stumbled across these photos of his Coupe in February of 2009. I’ve searched a number of times to find more photos, or details of his Coupe, but haven’t found much. While putting this post together, I was able to find a bit more info. Greenwasp says he won the specially built, one-of-a-kind, “‘M’ illenium” M Coupe from a raffle held by Auto, Motor und Sport Magazine in April of 2000. The Coupe is said to have been painted with “Orangeblur”, a one of a kind color that BMW has kept “under lock and key”. The door panels have been treated in Orange, and a different steering wheel fitted. The seats are a combination of leather and orange mesh, unlike the typical all leather M Coupe seats. Greenwasp says the dash and door sills indicate that it is a special edition. Unfortunately he has not shared photos showing this special badging. You can see one of the “special ‘M’ illenium badges” on the hatch.
Take all of this for what you will. It may or may not be accurate. I for one think it’s a very unique, and great looking Coupe, regardless. You can read the discussion about Greenwasp’s M Coupe in this thread on Zroadster.com.
