I realize this is an old post but is this vehicle still available?

I test drove this in Fremont and passed on it. I had been in a minor accident on the drivers side door sill.

I read a thread on bimmerforums about the next guy who drove this car, and had agreed to buy it. Later that day, the seller called the prospective buyer to inform him the car was sideswiped on 880 and totaled. Coupe down!

Yup, I always wondered what happened to that car. I only found out about a month ago. At least the driver was unhurt Poor Coupe though….

Those LM reps really didn’t help the car either, I had a S52 M3 at the time, and it felt slower than the M3…

I don’t remember hearing about really anybody being terribly injured in a Coupe wreck. I’m sure it’s happened, but the majority of cases, the driver walks away even if the Coupe is in awful shape.
