2000 M Coupe | Estoril Blue | Dark Oregon Beige

This M Coupe is listed for sale by Specialty Sales of San Carlos, CA for $20,990 with 80k miles. The price seems quite high to me, given the mileage. It seems as if the dealer made little effort to prepare the car for sale, especially at their asking price. While it does have a Traffic Pro head unit, it’s missing the right knob. The glove box is sagging significantly. The shift pattern looks like it needs to be replaced. There appears to either be stains, or damage to the center console near the shifter. At some point the Roadstars appear to have been refinished, but poorly so. The finish looks like a very dull attempt to match the original Hyper Silver finish. The M badges seem very faded, and there is a giant ugly sticker on the right side of the rear bumper. I suspect they are consigning the vehicle, given that they did not give the Coupe the proper attention for the asking price. Aside for the things I mentioned, the paint looks nice and glossy, and there is no obvious damage to it or the sheet metal. I would expect this Coupe in it’s current condition, and with the common Estoril Blue paint, and Dark Oregon Beige interior to sell for closer to $16k. Dark Oregon Beige is a fairly uncommon interior color, it doesn’t appeal to many people. Although, as a proud Coupe Cartel member, I’d love to see it sell for $60k or more. 😉
