This Coupe was submitted by my good friend Sky. Sky was separated from his Coupe for two years while he was stationed in Guam, with his Coupe tucked away safely in Alabama. Now that he is back in the CONUS, he has wasted no time in modding it to his tastes, and a nice job he has done. He just recently installed Ground Control coilovers, and Dforce LTW5 wheels wrapped in Hankook Ventus V12 rubber. He has the most aggressive fitment I’ve seen on a non-M Coupe yet, double stagger and no need for spacers — 17×8.5 fronts wrapped with 245/40/17s, and 18×10 rears with 285/30/18s. I think it looks just about as good as it can. Very nicely done. I think he’s planning on adding M side mirrors in the near future, along with some great custom mods I’ll let him mention when the time comes. Additional mods include: Vorshlag wheel studs and lugs, deleted rear wiper, BMW front mud flaps, Strong Strut brace, Dinan intake and tune, Eisenmann race exhaust, Stainless brake lines, Cryo rotors, polished Whalen Shift Machine, and clear lenses all around.
Thanks for the submission, Sky! If you’d like to have your Coupe featured here, please check out this page for details.

/ April 27, 2011Jeremy,
Thank you for listing my shoe on the site. For your loyal readers such as myself, some future mods in the works are….
M side mirrors, Shaved hatch, VDO gauges to match the OEM gauges and give a little more info than the Idiot lights BMW installed, IE subframe bushings (on hand), HID Bixenon retrofit, Randy Forbes Rear, Big Brake Kit and some toys under the hood that ill save until it is finished.
Great site, Great work as usual. Next time I send in a submission I promise to have better pics!

/ April 28, 2011Thanks, Sky! Looking forward to seeing the shaved hatch. I plan to do something similar to mine someday. At a minimum, take the ugly license plate frame/bracket off of the hatch. We’ll see…
