S54B32 M Coupe | Alpine White | Gray/Black

S54B32 M Coupe | Alpine White | Gray/Black

This M Coupe was posted on autojunk.nl by anniearnoa after spotting it in Venlo, Netherlands. Alpine White has moved way up on my list of favorite colors for M Coupes. This is just my personal opinion, but I think it is only exceeded by Laguna Seca Blue. While white is kind of average and boring for many cars, it really stands out on the Coupe. It really brings out the curves of the Coupe and looks really clean. This Coupe also has the much cleaner Euro hatch, absent of the giant placard, lights and off-center lock cylinder and lift of the NA hatch. The Coupe appears from the first photo to have a Gray/Black interior, which is my personal favorite, and just about all that I miss from my previous Arctic Silver S52 M Coupe. Based upon the curved M badges, chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, this is a 2001 or 2002 with an S54 under the hood. Mods include: BBS LM wheels, color matched door handles, and color matched hatch spoiler. This is one great looking Coupe.

S50B32 M Coupe | Matte Black | Gray/Black

S50B32 M Coupe | Matte Black | Gray/Black | Style 108 Wheels E85 Z4

This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by az after spotting it in Riga, Latvia. Based upon the flat M badges on the side grilles, all black kidney grille slats, and what appear to be non-chrome trim ringed headlights, this is a 98 or 99 with an S50 under the hood. The matte black vinyl wrap, like this Coupe has, is becoming much more common. What really sets this Coupe apart though are the Style 108 (18″x8 ET47, 18″x8.5″ ET50) wheels from the E85 Z4 (2002-2008), with orange painted lips. Dare I say, I kind of like it? I know it’s probably sacrilege to some, though. This is the first time I have seen Style 108s mounted, and wheels with colored lips, on a Coupe. I actually thought about trying out orange lips on my previous Arctic Silver M Coupe with Roadstars, but decided it was just too eccentric for me. I can’t see myself doing this, especially now that I have an LSB M Coupe, but it does look kind of cool on this matte black wrapped Coupe. Read the full post »

Z3 Coupe Drifter

BMW Z3 Coupe Drifter

This Z3 Coupe was posted on flickr.com by vector507. There were no details posted about the Coupe. I thought it was interesting and wanted to post it though. I can’t identify all of the mods, but aside from the giant rear wing, it looks like they have mounted Sonar ProjectorZ II  headlights, roll cage, pins on the hood and hatch, up front they are running Style 42 wheels, and in the rear Style 68. I’m not sure if the different front and rear wheels are intended as a statement of some sort, or if they were a practical choice, for some reason. The yellow vinyl on the center of the hood, roof, hatch and wing is different than any other I have seen. But, that goes for the whole Coupe, I suppose.

M Coupe vs Ferrari FF | Part I

M Coupe vs Ferrari FF | M Coupe compared to Ferrari FF

Since the time the Ferrari FF was unveiled, it has been compared to the M Coupe. It’s proportions are similar, and they’re both shooting brakes, but the similarities end there. As you can see in this photo posted on teamspeed.com by fqogil, the FF is immense compared to the M Coupe. It outweighs the M Coupe by nearly 1,000 lbs, and is almost 3 feet longer. This photo is a bit deceptive though, as the FF is only about 8 inches wider, and 3 inches taller than the M Coupe. The photo gives the perspective that the FF is several feet larger in all dimensions, though. Nonetheless, I like the comparison of the two from this angle.

S50B32 BMW Z3 M Coupe | Cosmos Black | Black | BMW X6 | Audi Q7

This Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by lepeltje lepeltje after spotting it in Schiphol, Netherlands. The photos caught by eye because of the way the Coupe is dwarfed by the BMW X6 and Audi Q7. I think the contrast in size is pretty humorous. Based upon the non-chrome trimmed headlights, all black kidney grille slats, Hyper Silver Roadstars and flat M badges, this is a 98 or 99 M Coupe with an S50 under the hood. The Coupe appears to be all stock, aside from the AC Schnitzer exhaust.
