2002 M Coupe | Laguna Seca Blue | Gray/Black

Eric Keller Enthusiast Auto M Coupe (5)

Perfection. That adequately sums up my opinion of this M Coupe recently acquired by Eric Keller, co-owner of Enthusiast Auto Group. I don’t think he could have possibly purchased a more ideal M Coupe. 2002 – last year of production, Laguna Seca Blue – my personal favorite M Coupe color (only 41 sold in NA), Gray/Black interior – my personal favorite M Coupe interior, sunroof delete – just adds to the rareness, and to top it all off it only has 3,200 miles. This is one of the ultra low mileage BMWs a collector consigned via BMW Portland earlier this year. It was listed -and sold- for ~$45k – a bargain if you ask me. EAG sold a 1 of 7 2002 Black Sapphire over Imola Red M Coupe with 2,560 miles for $55,990 on May 2, 2013, and a 1 of 3 2002 Estoril Blue over Black M Coupe with 2,750 miles for $59,990 on May 16, 2013 – both with sunroofs. This LSB M Coupe is 1 of 2, and a sunroof delete, no less. I wouldn’t be surprised to see this listed a few years down the road for $75k… Only time will tell.

M Coupe vs Ferrari FF | 2001 M Coupe | Black Sapphire | Black

This photo was posted by BFM01 on bimmerforums.com of his 2001 Black Sapphire over Black Nappa M Coupe adjacent to a Ferrari FF. I’ve posted photos before of an M Coupe compared to an FF, but this is a different angle than those, and a better photo I might add. David took delivery of his M Coupe in March from Enthusiast Auto, and has been very pleased thus far. His pristine, 25k mile Coupe appears to be all stock, aside from the UUC RK6-A shift knob and smoked corner markers. Thanks for taking and sharing the photo, David!

BMW Z3 M Coupe vs Ferrari FF | Comparison | Side-by-side

This photo was posted on leblogauto.com as “La photo du jour“. I posted a similar photo in October. This appears to be the same exact cars, at the same time, but from a different angle. I’m still blown away by how huge the FF is in comparison. Although, it would blow away the M Coupe and carry four people while doing it. The price tag is just a bit higher on the FF though. πŸ˜‰

M Coupe vs Ferrari FF | M Coupe compared to Ferrari FF

Since the time the Ferrari FF was unveiled, it has been compared to the M Coupe. It’s proportions are similar, and they’re both shooting brakes, but the similarities end there. As you can see in this photo posted on teamspeed.com by fqogil, the FF is immense compared to the M Coupe. It outweighs the M Coupe by nearly 1,000 lbs, and is almost 3 feet longer. This photo is a bit deceptive though, as the FF is only about 8 inches wider, and 3 inches taller than the M Coupe. The photo gives the perspective that the FF is several feet larger in all dimensions, though. Nonetheless, I like the comparison of the two from this angle.
