2002 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black | 700+ HP | Hartge Hood

This M Coupe owned by Taz Dude of San Diego, CA was posted on bimmerforums.com covering a recent build to bring the S54 powered Coupe to over 700 HP. Insane! An impressive mod list was posted over there, so rather than trying to sum it up, I’ve posted it below. This is one incredible beast of an M Coupe, not only does it have a huge amounted of added power, but it has a ton of unique and rare mods as well.

Spotted: M54B30 Z3 Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black

Spotted: M54B30 Z3 Coupe | Titanium Silver | Black | AZ License Plate AEL9004

I was headed home from work yesterday, as I approached the left turn lane headed towards the freeway, of all things, a Coupe pulled into the lane next to me. I nearly broke my neck trying to catch a glimpse of the Coupe. I was pretty surprised to see a Coupe on the road locally, as it’s been over a year since I had seen another. Luckily the Coupe pulled into the right most turn lane to the onramp and continued onto Loop 101 westbound. We were both snapping photos of the other Coupe. Traffic slowed a bit and we both rolled our windows down. The lady driving the Coupe shouted over the freeway noise “I love the color! Did you get yours in Germany?!” I told her I bought it in PA and asked when they bought theirs. She said “2003”. Traffic started to pick up, so I moved along admiring the Coupe as I pulled ahead with traffic. I could see chrome trim ringed headlights, and chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, so I knew it was a 2000+ making the color Titanium Silver rather than Arctic Silver. At one point when the Coupe was ahead of me I could see the 3.0 badge on the hatch. It also had a sunroof, but I’m curious if it was manual or auto. The only mod I could see on the Coupe was that the windows were tinted. It must have been somewhat of a sight for the surrounding traffic to see 2 E36/8s side by side.

If you guys spot a Coupe, and can snap some pics, please send them in!

S54B32 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black

S54B32 M Coupe | Imola Red | Black | 46-NZ-JB

This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by Ferrari Fan after spotting it in Culemborg, Netherlands. Based upon what is visible, this sunroof delete Coupe is all stock. The Roadsars appear to be Chrome Shadow, which leads me to believe this is an 01 or 02 with an S54 under the hood. There are said to have been only 284 LHD European S54 M Coupes produced. That said this must be a pretty rare color and option combo for the market. In the US there were 678 S54 M Coupes produced, of which 19 were Imola over black (183 total Imola/Black), with only 1 of them sold without a sunroof. It’s possible that this is not an S54 M Coupe, but given what I can see in the photos, I believe it is. If you happen to recognize the Coupe, or it’s plate (46-NZ-JB), please post in the comments.

Road Trip — Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas, NV | 2002 M Coupe | Laguna Seca Blue | Black

Road Trip —  Phoenix, AZ to Las Vegas, NV | 2002 M Coupe | Laguna Seca Blue | Black | Nothing, AZ

To celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and my wife’s 30th birthday, we left the kids with our family and drove the Coupe to Las Vegas for a long weekend. I prepared for a variety of potential issues with the Coupe, but we were very fortunate to have none at all. The Coupe was an excellent road trip car, and very comfortable for the 5 hour drive. Not that I should be surprised as we bought my first M Coupe from Rowland Heights, CA and drove it home. The bulk of the drive to Las Vegas is a 2 lane highway through scenic desert with lots of opportunity to enjoy the drive. Friday on the way up to Vegas though, we were stuck behind a caravan of RVs that were poking along 5-10 under the speed limit. As soon as there was a passing lane open, we easily blasted past the slow traffic. We stopped for some quick photos in Nothing, AZ, mostly because of the irony of the name. We had a great trip, and a good warm up for our drive to Dorkfest in August!
