This weekend I joined the Roadrunner BMW CCA, and AZ PCA at Tempe Diablo Stadium for my first driving event ever – autocross. Started off bright and early at 7am, registering and going through the starting procedures (walking the track, drivers meet, etc). Before things began, I was a little intimidated by quite a few trailered cars, and others who drove out on track compound tires.

This M Coupe is owned by z082 of bmwz3club.fr. Zo is from Switzerland, and bought the M Coupe in July of this year with only 30k km (18k miles), moving up from a Lotus Elise. The Coupe appears to be all stock.

This M Coupe was posted by Lumix-crew of autogespot.com in the Netherlands. While the Coupe is pretty dirty from snowy roads, at least the owner has the opportunity to drive it, rather than putting it in hibernation. I believe it is an S54 based upon the Chrome Shadow wheels, chromed slats on the kidney grills, chrome ringed headlight lenses and curved rear badge. The monochrome rear badge is obviously not OE, but I suspect it is just a vinyl decal. It looks like the Coupe is running aftermarket suspension, based upon the reduced wheel gap, and aftermarket front calipers.
