I stopped and snapped this photo with my iPhone a couple of days ago while a dust storm (or haboob, if you’re the local news) was rolling through Phoenix. I used an app by Microsoft called Photosynth to make the panorama. I dig the way it turned out.

I haven’t really posted any Coupe videos here, but after stumbling across this one, I think I might post them regularly. This video was posted on youtube.com by jurglic while driving in Mendola Pass, Dolomites, Italy. Narrow, twisty, mountain roads, viewed from an M Coupe, chasing a Z3 Coupe — Looks like a fun, yet crazy drive. Based upon the black faced gauges, and sound of the engine this is an S50 M Coupe. This M Coupe was posted on autogespot.com by auto-moto0611 after spotting it in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. Based upon the chrome trim ringed headlights, chrome trimmed kidney grille slats, curved M badges, and Chrome Shadow Roadstars, this is a 2001 or 2002 with and S54 under the hood. It appears to be all stock, aside from what might be aftermarket suspension. Although, it’s difficult to tell from the angle of the photos. This LHD Euro M Coupe is one of only 269 produced, and even more rare is the sunroof delete. I applaud the owner of this Coupe for proudly representing the Coupe Cartel, even if it is was with blue painters tape. I’m curious what event the owner was headed to or from that prescribed decking out the Coupe like this.

This M Coupe was posted on bimmerforums.com by Hexagone of Chicago, Il. This is the M Coupe that was sold by it’s previous owner not far from me, that I have posted before. However, it has changed quite a bit from it’s stock form to what you see now. The biggest change being the suspension (Ground Control coilovers, 440/650 springs), but namely the 18×9 et2, and 18×11 et13 Rotiformed BBS RS wheels.

This M Coupe was posted on flickr.com by Michaelangelo10. There are no details posted about the Coupe, but it caught my attention for obvious reasons. The vinyl “camo” treatment is something I’ve never seen on a Coupe before, let along on a Dakar Yellow Coupe. The license plate is the same as this Coupe I posted just yesterday, so I contacted the owner for more details. I found some additional photos in this thread on pistonheads.com from the owner in the meantime. I’m curious about the tradition of “stickering” cars for Le Mans. I like the idea, though!
